Durable, High-Quality Powder Coating Near You

At Midwest Auto Pros, we offer professional powder coating services for wheels, brake calipers, metal parts, and accessories — delivering unmatched durability, brilliant color, and a finish that outlasts paint by miles.

Why Powder Coating Matters

Unlike traditional paint, powder coating creates a heat-cured, electrostatically bonded finish that resists chips, corrosion, fading, and chemicals — all while looking incredible.

Our powder coating services help you:

What We Powder Coat

Wheels & Rims

Curb rash? Faded finish? New build? We strip, prep, and coat all OEM and aftermarket wheels for a like-new or custom-finished result. Available in satin, gloss, metallic, candy, and more.

Brake Calipers

Add a bold pop behind your wheels with heat-resistant caliper coatings. We handle the removal, prep, masking, and reinstallation for long-lasting, high-temp protection and shine.

Suspension Parts, Brackets & Accessories

Coat your coilovers, tow hooks, sway bars, engine bay parts, or frame brackets. Powder coating adds a uniform finish and makes cleaning easier — especially for off-road and performance vehicles.

Motorcycle & ATV Parts

From handlebars to engine covers and foot pegs — we coat all types of small parts for custom bikes, quads, and off-road builds.

Why Drivers Choose Midwest Auto Pros for Powder Coating

Fast Turnaround, No Compromise We offer competitive lead times with a focus on prep and precision — not rushed jobs or inconsistent finishes.

Extreme Durability for Real Use Our coatings withstand salt, brake dust, impact, chemicals, and repeated washes — perfect for Minnesota roads and harsh winters.

Customization for Every Build We work with car owners, SEMA builders, off-roaders, and bike enthusiasts to create one-of-a-kind finishes that make your ride stand out.

Affordable Alternative to Paint or Replacement Don’t buy new wheels — coat the ones you have. Our powder coating brings tired parts back to life at a fraction of the replacement cost.

Our Process

Prep & Disassembly

We dismount wheels, remove old finishes, and clean every part to bare metal via media blasting or chemical stripping.

Masking & Hanging

All contact points, threads, and non-coated areas are professionally masked. Parts are suspended to allow even coating.

Powder Application

Using an electrostatic gun, we apply powder evenly across the surface — creating a consistent, smooth layer ready for curing.

Oven Curing

Parts are baked in our industrial oven at 350–400°F, allowing the powder to cross-link and form a permanent, durable bond.

Reassembly & Final Inspection

We reinstall hardware (if needed), inspect every part for finish quality, and clean for delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions: Powder Coating

How long does powder coating last?
With proper prep and application, powder coating can last 5–10+ years, even under daily driving or harsh conditions.
Can you powder coat previously painted wheels?
Yes — we’ll strip all old finishes before reapplying powder. Clean metal is essential for adhesion and longevity.
Do I need to remove my tires or brake parts?
Not necessarily. We offer full removal and reinstallation services, but you can bring parts disassembled if preferred.
Is powder coating better than painting?
Yes — it’s more durable, chip-resistant, UV-stable, and evenly finished. No drips, no runs, and far superior longevity.
